Authorities Identify Pedestian, 19, Killed In Fullerton Intersection

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — Officials on Sunday identified the 19-year-old pedestrian who was killed in a Fullerton intersection yesterday.

Phillip Stapleton of Buena Park was killed about 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of East Valencia Drive and South Magnolia Avenue, according to authorities.

Witnesses said Stapleton crossed against the light. He was declared dead at the scene.

The driver, a man in his 40s, was not injured, said Fullerton Police Sgt. Steve Williams.
