Authorities Identify Elderly Man, Woman Killed In Fiery Crash In Temple City

TEMPLE CITY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities identified an elderly man and woman on Tuesday who were killed when their antique vehicle struck a tree and burst into flames.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent around 7 p.m. on Monday to the intersection of Temple City and Broadway boulevards for report of a traffic collision.

Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man and woman inside of a 1931 Ford.

Paramedics pronounced both victims dead at the scene.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, Florean Frank Izbinski and Cristina Alicia Izbinski have been identified as the victims.

At this time, the relationship between the victims remains unclear.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
