Author Of 'Just Tell Me HOW It Works' Discusses Book

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Author Paul Lance appeared on KCAL9 News on Sunday morning to discuss his book, "just tell me HOW it works."

Lance also provided tips on how to protect yourself when it comes to technology and passwords, including how to come up with a safe password that is not hard to remember.

Among his tips, Lance recommends the following:

1. Find a catchy phrase or your favorite song title or lyric.
2. Change the "i"s to "1"s and "o"s to "0"s.
3. Add month or year you or a loved one was born at the beginning or end.
