Author Hollye Jacobs Shares Her Intimate Experience With Breast Cancer In New Book

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Author Hollye Jacobs stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to tell viewers about her new book, The Silver Lining: A Supportive and Insightful Guide to Breast Cancer.

The book is Jacobs' intimate experience with breast cancer written through the lens of her professional, clinical experiences in health care.

"Our intention was that it not be a medical book," Jacobs said. "We created something that is accessible and relatable, and hopefully offers some peace as people are going through — as well as some information to be able to demystify — the breast cancer experience."
