Attempted Murder Investigation Underway In Fontana

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Two male victims remained hospitalized Sunday for injuries sustained in a shooting yesterday afternoon.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, deputies from the Fontana Sheriff's Station were flagged down around 3:56 p.m. Saturday regarding a shooting in the 9000 block of Beach Avenue.

Once on scene, deputies found three male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

They were transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the shooting.

Officials said Ronald Belk, 51, of Trabuco Canyon was pronounced dead at 4:34 p.m.

The other two victims, 48-year-old and 15-year-old Fontana residents, have not been released from the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Deputies have not identified any suspects related to this crime.
