At Least 1 Injured When Car, Blue Line Train Collide In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — At least one person was injured Friday when a car collided with a Metro Blue Line train in Long Beach.

The crash took place at Long Beach Boulevard and 14th Street around 7:05 a.m., according to officials.

The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.

Several of the train's passengers also complained of pain following the crash and were being examined.

The crash was under investigation.

No major delays were reported.
