Chef Chris Rubinstein is well known in vegan and vegetarian circles, having served on the opening staff of Santa Monica's Make (a raw, plant-based restaurant) Rubinstein puts some of his plant-based recipes and experience to work at Dory Deli, Newport Beach's newest oceanfront dining destination. His passion for fruits and vegetables - coupled with his upbringing in Philadelphia where he enjoyed traditional east-coast, Jewish-deli food - allows him to work easily with a wide array of foods that he presents on Dory's menu.
Dory Deli features a wide array of sandwich classics like the Philly cheesesteak, but also highlights inventive deli salads and vegan/vegetarian sandwiches that makes this a great place for both carnivores and vegetarians to enjoy a meal. The deli also has you covered on beverages - with an espresso bar featuring freshly-roasted Kean Coffee, a selection of craft beers, and over 15 varieties of wine.
