Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Starting At Least 1 Brush Fire In San Bernardino County

CRESTLINE (CBSLA.com) — Police arrested a man accused of starting at least one brush fire in Crestline on Monday night.
Flames broke out around 8:30 p.m. off SR 18, near SR 138. Firefighters managed to put out the blaze quickly.
Highway 18 in that area will remain closed until the morning.
The suspect was identified as Benjamin Baptiste, 27, of Blythe.
No evacuations were ordered. No homes were threatened.
