Arrest Made In Connection With Armed Robbery Of Highland AT&T Store

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say they've made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery last month at an AT&T store in the city of Highland.

Leon Christopher Graham of Moreno Valley was taken into custody about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday after Riverside police responded to an armed robbery call at a Verizon store.

Upon arriving on scene, authorities say they made contact with suspected robber they identified as 41-year-old Graham, who allegedly fled on foot.

Shortly after, Graham was arrested.

A search warrant was subsequently served at Graham's home where authorities say they located a loaded handgun and other evidence allegedly linking him to the Dec. 2013, Highland AT&T store robbery.

At the time of his arrest, the 41-year-old Graham was also allegedly in possession of a weapon police say was used in the robberies.

Graham remained jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
