Armed robbers burglarize restaurant off Pico Bouelvard

6 suspects on loose after robbing people at gunpoint at parking lot of Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles

Armed suspects burglarized a restaurant located off the 5000 block of Pico Boulevard on Saturday.

At least six men were involved in the armed robbery, with four of the suspects carrying loaded weapons, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspects approached the restaurant located at 5006 W. Pico Boulevard in two separate vehicles around 2:26 p.m. on Saturday. A security guard at the scene told CBSLA that the armed robbery took place in the parking lot of the Roscoe's Chicken And Waffles located on the 5000 block of Pico Boulevard.

Witnesses told CBSLA Reporter Lauren Pozen that the suspects stole money, luxury handbags and jewelry.

It's unclear at this moment if any of the victims were injured.

The man who spoke with Pozen did not want to be identified for fear of retaliation.

"They had 30 seconds to get out and they did it in less than 30 seconds. They did it in 24 seconds," the man send.

While police have not confirmed that the armed robbery took place at Roscoe's, witnesses have confirmed that it did.

LAPD has not provided much information about the suspects other than saying that all six of them are black and were wearing masks.
