Armed Robber Flees With $6K From Cypress Check-Cashing Business

CYPRESS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday were searching for a man who robbed a "Check Into Cash" store in Orange County.

The armed suspect stole $5,900 from the business, located at 5008 Ball Road, just before 12 p.m. Tuesday.

The robber was last seen running east from the location before Cypress police officers arrived on scene.

He was described as a Hispanic man who's approximately 40 years old. He was wearing a dark striped shirt and baseball cap.
