Armed Man Shot By Police In La Habra Parking Lot

LA HABRA (CBSLA.com) – An armed man was shot and injured by officers in La Habra Tuesday morning.
The shooting occurred at around 9:30 a.m. in a parking lot at West Imperial Highway and South Idaho Street while officers were conducting a welfare check, according to La Habra police.
The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. No officers were wounded.
The circumstances that precipitated the shooting were not confirmed. The man was not identified.
