Police: Armed Suspect Barricaded Himself Inside Apartment After Eviction

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA) — Police Monday were on the scene of a barricade situation in Hollywood after they say a former tenant of a building broke into his old unit following an eviction.

LAPD officers responded to the scene of Willoughby Avenue and Gower Street at approximately 11:26 a.m. Police say the suspect was armed.

At 5:10 p.m., the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.
