Arcadia Police Chase Residential Burglary Suspect Into South Bay

ARCADIA (CBSLA.com) —  Arcadia police pursued a residential burglary suspect into the South Bay Friday.

The chase went from Arcadia to Lynwood, South Gate, Hawthorne and Inglewood.

The chase started on the 605 Freeway but the suspect ended up on surface streets.

Stu Mundel in Sky9 said the suspect had exceeded 100 mph.

"We've seen some hair-raising moments," Mundel said. "This guy is going very, very fast."

The suspect had several close calls, Mundel said.

"He's been pushing up on several drivers, and it's incredibly dangerous," Mundel said.

The chase came to an abrupt stop on a residential street.

The suspect was taken into custody, Mundel reported.
