Arcadia High School Band Drum Line Visits KCAL9

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The Arcadia High School band drum line visited KCAL9 Saturday morning, days after placing fifth in a national competition.

Band director Kevin Sherrill said about 300 students comprise the band, which has competed for the last 14 years and has regular practice to ensure they're in top form.

"They have a class period every day and then we practice two times after school each week," Sherrill said.

The band's percussion section is performing its Spring Show at the school Saturday at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.

They are also performing at the POPS concert at 6 p.m. May 19 and 20.
