Animal Shelters In LA, Riverside Offer Free Adoptions Through Monday
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A holiday initiative is helping to save a potential pet's life while also saving money.
Animal shelters throughout the city of Los Angeles and Riverside County were offering free dog and cat adoptions from Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
The online retail company Zappos.com partnered with Best Friends Animal Society for the holiday weekend, as shelters offered free adoptions for animals in need.
Spaying and neutering was included in the adoption offers, as well as micro-chipping and vaccinations, free of charge.
