Halo, No! Angels Fans Dismayed Despite Trout's Milestone
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Mike Trout got his 1,000th career hit and also homered on his 26th birthday, but a grand slam by the Orioles spoiled the night, as the Angels eventually lost, 6-2.
Trout has been a high point in the season for Angels fans, who expressed some dismay Monday with the path the team appears to be on.
Just wasting all these great seasons by Trout. Love watching him play. But it's all for not. And #firescioscia #Angels

In a related, and very appropriate, story, the #Angels are about to be 2-4 on Mike Trout's birthday since 2012. #freemiketrout https://t.co/4rZybGHvct

Trout needs to get outta an Angels uniform. If he stays there it'll affect his legacy. #wrongtimezone

Angels pitchers have to start doing better when it comes to getting the 3rd out w/ runners on (or no runners on). 2-out runs = ????#AngelsRecap
