MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA.com) — A 30-year-old man from Anaheim is accused of robbing his girlfriend's 82-year-old mother at her Mission Viejo home.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a written statement that Steven Tyler Davy was arrested in connection with the Aug. 22, home invasion robbery.

According to the statement, Davy allegedly forced open the front door of the home in the 23300 block of Via Linda, and confronted the elderly woman who was watching television in bed.

Davy was arrested at a motel in Anaheim where he was living, officials said.

He was subsequently booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of robbery and burglary.
