Anaheim Man Accused Of Possession, Distribution Of Child Pornography

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — An Anaheim man has been charged with possession of child pornography.

John Richard Nash, 52, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to possession and distribution of child pornography, Anaheim police said.

The investigation into Nash began on Nov. 11, 2013, when detectives from the Anaheim Police Department, the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Orange County District Attorney's Office began probing the trading of child pornography via the Internet, police said.

A search warrant served at Nash's home revealed a computer containing child pornography, which was being made available for download via the Internet, police said.

Nash, who is free on his own recognizance, is scheduled to appear in court next on March 28.
