Schumer, Williams Among Women Featured In 2016 Pirelli Calendar

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The 2016 Pirelli calendar is making a major departure from tradition by featuring women for their accomplishments and not their measurements.

"I'm 34 and now everything is about to drop, so let's get a shot of it while we've got it up there," said Amy Schumer, who is among 13 women to be featured.

Schumer posted the photograph on her Twitter account, where she has more than 2.6 million followers.

She captioned the picture: "Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman. Thank you @annieleibovitz."

Schumer earlier this year joked about her body image while on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

"Just straight up body type. In L.A., my arms register as legs," Schumer said in April.

Famed photograph Annie Leibovitz took the photographs for the calendar, which is now in its 43rd edition.

Tennis professional and Los Angeles native Serena Williams is also being featured.

Last year, Model Gigi Hadid, whose mother Yolanda Foster has been a cast member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" for several seasons, appeared in the calendar, along with Carolyn Murphy and Karen Elson, also models.
