Alleged Hit-And-Run Driver Nabbed After Breaking Teen Skateboarder's Legs In Reseda

RESEDA (CBSLA.com)   — Authorities said they arrested an alleged hit-and-run driver who broke both legs of a 15-year-old skateboarder.

The hit occurred shortly after midnight in Reseda, authorities said.

The victim, a 15-year-old girl was in the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Lindley Avenue when she was struck, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The skateboarder was taken to a nearby hospital. She is expected to survive, police said.

Authorities confirmed the alleged driver was arrested after a search but released no further details.
