Alhambra crash hospitalizes 3; vehicle destroyed

Three people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle collision at the intersection of Concord and Fremont in Alhambra early Thursday morning.

Alhambra fire and police personnel responded to the crash at Concord and South Fremont avenues at about 3:15 a.m.

Officers arrived first and found three people trapped in the vehicle, and removed one of the victims. Fire personnel arrived and extricated the remaining two people.

The three victims were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to Alhambra Police.

Investigators said the vehicle's occupants may have been involved in an "incident involving South Pasadena Police Department shortly before" the traffic accident.

The crash was under investigation.
