Airport Police Detain Suspicious Person Who Gained Access To Airfield At LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police detained a suspicious person Friday who gained access to the runway area at Los Angeles International Airport.
According to airport police, the suspect gained access to the airfield located at the far west side of the airport.

Just before 11 a.m., officers detained the suspicious person.
No injuries were reported.
There were no reports of flight interruptions as a result of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
