Aftermath Of East Coast Blizzard Continues To Disrupt Air Travel At LAX

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The travel nightmare continued Monday for passengers who were attempting to fly through Los Angeles International Airport due to the aftermath of blizzard conditions on the East Coast.

According to airport officials, there are currently 24 flight cancellations and several delays at LAX at this time.

CBS2's Jasmine Viel reported the majority of flight cancellations are affecting passengers traveling through New York and Washington, D.C.

Meanwhile, several passengers here in Los Angeles are still waiting to rebook their flights back to the East Coast.

In total, the monster winter storm cancelled more than 11,000 flights nationwide.
