Adele Admits Credit Card Was Recently Declined While Shopping At H&M

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Adele might have a bank account a lot larger than most, but the "Hello" singer recently admitted that her credit card was declined.

It happened while the 28-year-old was shopping up north in San Jose.

Adele, the United Kingdom's richest female singer, told an audience at one of her shows last month she went to H&M and the card was rejected.

She says she was embarrassed, but no one knew it was her.
