Additional Rain Possible In Southland On Sunday

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — CBS2 meteorologist Rich Fields says more rain is likely in the Southland through the day on Sunday.

Fields is forecasting light rain Saturday, turning to scattered showers overnight, and a 60 percent chance of continued showers on Sunday, with snow continuing at the higher elevations of the local mountains as well.

The rain amounts could be heavy enough for concerns in the area of recent fires, including Glendora and Camarillo Springs.

KCAL9's Brittney Hopper reported from Beverly Hills Saturday evening.

The rain was already falling sufficiently enough to create worry among Golden Globe producers who were working had to keep the red carpet from becoming water-logged.
