Actor William Shatner Horses Around For Charity

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Actor William Shatner visited the KCAL9 studios to talk about the 24th Annual Priceline.com Hollywood Charity Horse Show that raises money to help benefit special-needs children's charities across the city of Los Angeles.

The event will take place on April 26 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, 480 Riverside Drive, in Burbank.

Guests will be treated to an exciting arena show and a world-class reining competition, followed by a western dinner catered by STONEFIRE Grill.

The evening concludes with a special live performance by Wynonna & The Big Noise.

Proceeds from the event will benefit special-needs children's charities across the city of Los Angeles including: AHEAD With Horses, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Hollenbeck Police Activities League (PAL), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, The Painted Turtle and others.

Shatner also has a new movie, "Shatner's World," which takes audiences on a voyage through his life and career through his humor, signature storytelling and select musical selections in his inimitable style.

The movie only places for one night, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.,  in select theaters.
