Actor, Playwright Jack Larson Dies At 87

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An iconic Hollywood actor and playwright has died at the age of 87-years-old.

A longtime friend confirmed Jack Larson died on Sunday at his home in Brentwood.

Larson was best known for his role playing Jimmy Olsen in the 1950s comic book series "Adventures of Superman" TV series.

Funeral arrangements have not been released at this time.
