Actor Daniel Radcliffe To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Actor Daniel Radcliffe will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday morning.

At 11:30 a.m., Radcliffe will be presented with the 2,565th star, located in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the Dolby Theatre.

The 26-year-old made his acting debut in 1999 in the BBC One production of "David Cooperfield."

Radcliffe then went on to perform in the 2001 spy thriller "The Tailor of Panama."

After completing the "Harry Potter" series in 2010, Radcliffe appeared on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and "The Cripple of Inishmaan."

He also made an appearance in the British horror film "The Woman in Black" and four-part TV miniseries "A Young Doctor's Notebook."

Radcliffe's most recent gig in the movie "Victor Frankenstein" will be released in about two weeks. He plays an assistant to a scientist who is obsessed with creating life.

The actor was born in the Fulham area of London, England.
