Taxi Driver Killed In West Hollywood Collision

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — An early morning collision in West Hollywood between a taxi, an Uber driver, and a third vehicle has left the cab driver dead.

It happened on La Brea Avenue near Fountain Avenue, when the driver of a red Hyundai ran a red light and collided with the taxi and the Uber vehicle.
The taxi driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Streets in that area were closed for hours.

The driver of the Hyundai was detained for suspicion of DUI.
