9 Injured In Explosion At La Habra Industrial Complex
LA HABRA (CBSLA.com) — At least nine people were injured Tuesday morning in an industrial explosion in La Habra.
The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. at Gorilla's Polishing, 531 Commercial Way, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
"I don't know how the patients got burned, I don't know if it was from chemicals, from the actual explosion or if it was from radiant heat — that's still to be determined," Inspector Scott Miller said.
Two of the eight victims transported were in critical condition, authorities said.
The cause of the explosion was under investigation.
