7 Seriously Hurt, Including 4 Ejected From SUV, In Rollover Crash Near Perris

PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Seven people were seriously injured when the SUV they were in overturned on the 215 Freeway near Perris.

Four of those passengers were ejected from the vehicle.

The driver reportedly lost control of the SUV shortly after 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes, north of the Ramona Expressway, the Riverside County Fire Department reports.

The vehicle rolled over at least once.

All seven passengers were transported to the hospital for major injuries.

California Highway Patrol partially shut down the southbound 215 for a couple hours to clear the wreckage and investigate the crash.
