7 Injured In Fountain Valley When Ambulance, Medical Van Collide

FOUNTAIN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) —  Seven people were hurt, three critically, when an ambulance and medical van collided in Fountain Valley on Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Euclid Street and Warner Avenue, authorities said.

The ambulance ended up on its side.

Officials said the ambulance was racing a patient to a hospital with its lights and sirens on.

People inside the ambulance had to be extricated by emergency responders.

Six people were sent to the hospital for treatment. Three of the injured were hurt critically but officials said none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
