7 Injured In 10-Car Pileup On 405 Freeway In Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say seven people have been injured in a 10-car pileup on a major thoroughfare in Hawthorne.
The accident occurred about 10:27 p.m. Friday on the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway just south of Imperial Highway.
One of the seven patients was reportedly in "bad shape," according to firefighters. The other six patients were said to be OK.
The accident also snarled traffic as seen in aerial footage over the scene.
