54-Year-Old Granada Hills Woman Accused Of Being Major Meth Dealer

GRANADA HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Narcotics detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department arrested a 54-year-old woman and accused her of being a major methamphetamine dealer.

Dorothy Zamora of Granada Hills was arrested after a two-month investigation, authorities said.

Zamora was also booked on a variety of weapons charges.

Narcotics detectives and police officers served a search warrant at Zamora's residence in the 16900 block of Simonds.

During the search, detectives said, they found over 82 grams of methamphetamine and evidence of sales of methamphetamine. Detectives also recovered the following weapons:

•AK-47 along with 12 high-capacity magazines loaded with ammunition
•Mini 14 .223 rifle
•Colt 1911 handgun
•Ruger .22 pistol
•.44 revolver
•Springfield XD40
•38 boxes of 7.62mm rifle ammunition

Zamora, a convicted felon and former Simi Valley resident, was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail on changes of several felonies, including possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation/sales of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substances while possessing a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition.
