$50K Reward Offered In South LA Hit-And-Run

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the hit-and-run death of a 57-year-old woman.

Diane Dupree-Phillips was jay-walking across the 6300 block of Crenshaw Boulevard when she was fatally struck around 9:40 p.m. on October 10, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

"The motorist continued north on Crenshaw Boulevard, without identifying themselves or rendering aid as required by law," Officer Ruben Mendoza said.

Dupree-Phillips later died from her injuries.

A nearby camera captured video of the hit-and-run vehicle described as a small to medium sized 1980s to early 1990s Honda, Toyota or similar vehicle.
