$50K Reward Offered In Murder Of Wealthy Encino Man

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday announced a $50,000 reward in the murder of a wealthy Encino man.

Harvey Cohen, an 80-year-old investment banker, was shot inside his home on Andasol Avenue in the early morning hours of Sept. 19, Los Angeles police said.

Cohen suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach and was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police said a .45 caliber bullet casing was recovered from the scene, but no murder weapon was found.

"The suspect(s) remain at large and are considered armed and dangerous," police said in a statement.
