5 Stabbed During Fight Outside Jurupa Valley Bar

JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com)  —  Five people were stabbed outside of a Jurupa Valley bar and restaurant early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Deputies with the Jurupa Valley station were dispatched to a disturbance call in the 5500 block of Etiwanda Avenue just before 2:10 a.m.

On arrival, deputies found three adult males with stab wounds. The victims were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment.

A short time after deputies arrived at the location, they learned two additional victims had already gone to the hospital.

One victim is hospitalized in serious condition, authorities said. The other four victims received medical treatment for non-life-threatening wounds.

Detectives determined that numerous subjects became involved in an altercation in the parking lot of the Las Islas Maria's Mexican restaurant and bar. During the altercation, a suspect or suspects retrieved a knife and stabbed the victims.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
