5 Protesters In Custody Following Hollywood Demonstration Against Officers

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Five protesters were in custody Sunday for participating in demonstrations against police officers in the shooting deaths of black men.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, four people were arrested Saturday for allegedly failing to disperse when ordered to do so by officers.

The fifth person was arrested for alleged battery on an officer during the protest.

A group of around 300 marched down Hollywood Boulevard, after starting on Highland Avenue, where a man was fatally shot by police last week. Officers explained he had a pocket knife on him.
