8 Injured In Multiple-Car Crash In Malibu

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — At least eight people were injured late Friday in an accident involving three vehicles, authorities said.

One car had overturned, fire officials reported.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash took place shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Heather Cliff.

Officials said five patients sustained minor injuries in the crash. Sky2's Stu Mundel reported from overhead the three patients were transported to hospitals in serious condition.

Three ambulances were requested at the scene, crews said.

Officials closed Pacific Coast Highway at Heather Cliff in both directions as a result of the crash.
