5 Dead, Including 1 Child, In Ontario 2-Vehicle Crash

ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) —   Five people, including a child, are dead in a two-vehicle car crash in Ontario.

Authorities said the crash was reported just after 7 p.m.

A red vehicle exited the eastbound 110 Freeway at high speed and reportedly crashed into a silver vehicle that was pulling out of a gas station into traffic.

"I saw the firefighters trying to cut the car," said witness Orlando Erives, "so that they could get the people out. One was ejected from the car. I was able to see them on the floor. After that I just saw them putting tarps on each of the bodies."

Erives said he saw the silver car pull out of the gas station when the red vehicle plowed into it.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
