San Dimas Brush Fire Now Fully Contained

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — An 8.6-acre brush fire in the San Gabriel Valley was fully contained Wednesday, authorities said.

The three-alarm fire broke out in the 2100 block of Terrebonne Avenue, near the San Dimas Golf Course, around 4 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

The fire burned uphill in steep terrain.

No evacuations have been ordered as the fire was burning away from residential areas.

The cause of the brusher was under investigation.

More than 2oo firefighters put out the blaze.

The LA Co. Fire Department was being assisted by air resources and the La Verne Fire Department.
