40-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured By LA Driver

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Sunday in providing information leading to the arrest of those accused in a pedestrian hit-and-run accident.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent to the area of Vermont Avenue and Venice Avenue around 2:45 a.m. for reports of a hit-and-run traffic collision.

Officers said a dark Honda was traveling Southbound on Vermont Avenue when it collided with a 40-year-old pedestrian and fled from the scene.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

His condition is unknown at this time.
