4 Rescued After Boat Capsizes Near Long Beach

LONG BEACH (AP) — Rescuers plucked four people from the ocean outside Long Beach Harbor after their boat capsized in big swells.

Los Angeles County Fire Dispatcher Ray Dong says a crew from a lifeguard boat made the rescue shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday.

No injuries are reported.

Dong didn't know the size or type of boat that capsized just outside the Long Beach breakwater.

A small craft advisory is in effect for Southern California. Swells up to 8 feet have been reported.
