4 Motorists Rescued From Catering Truck, Swarm Of Bees After Tree Crash

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Emergency responders saved four people from a catering truck after it collided with a tree Saturday in West Hollywood.

The collision triggered an irritated swarm of bees to spew from a hive in the tree and surround the truck.

L.A. County Fire and L.A. City Fire responded around 12:30 p.m. It happened at Sunset Boulevard and Doheny Drive.

Three of the victims were taken to a hospital in critical condition. Another motorist was transported in serious condition.

It's not clear if anyone was stung during the process.
