Vehicle Plows Through Party City Store In San Dimas On Halloween; 4 Injured

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — Four people were injured Saturday after their vehicle plowed through a Party City store in San Dimas.

The collision occurred shortly after noon, located in the 800 block of West Arrow Highway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies said a woman lost control of the vehicle and drove through the glass storefront of the store.

The driver was not arrested at the scene.

Paramedics transported three victims to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.

The fourth victim, a 14-year-old girl, was transported to L.A. County USC Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries, deputies said.

An update on their conditions was not immediately available.

One customer, Darren Graves, was waiting in line when the car came crashing through the building.

Graves was able to capture the video of the collision and posted it to his Instagram account online.

"There were easily 70 to 80 people in line," explained Graves. "A lot of people got pushed back by the counter. [The car] went right through the spot where the balloons were. Helium tanks were flying around. It was really scary."

"I was so busy trying to pull debris off of the vehicle I didn't notice anyone around me that was really seriously injured," he added.

According to Graves, a baby boy sustained two big gashes on his face. Authorities have not confirmed this, however.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
