4 Hurt, 1 Seriously, In Fire At Pacoima Condo Complex

PACOIMA (CBSLA.com) — As flames tore through a three-story condominium complex Saturday in Pacoima at least four people were injured as they made their escape.

Firefighters were called shortly before 1 p.m. to 12330 West Osborne Street, Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesperson Cody Weireter said.

A man was transported in serious condition to a hospital. The conditions of the three other people injured were not immediately known.

Crews searched for two children who were feared trapped in an upper-floor apartment. They were later found safe outside with their mother.

Firefighters put out the blaze in 43 minutes.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. The extent of the property damage was not yet known.
