350 Students Receive Gifts At Sweet Alice's 29th Annual Christmas Party

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — "Sweet Alice" -- the female Santa Claus of Watts -- held her 29th Annual Christmas party Thursday.

Students from nine schools attended the event at from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Diane Feinstein House School Readiness Center, 1673 E. Imperial Highway.

The party included lunch, music and gifts for 350 kids.

CBS2's Stephanie Simmons was there and saw the faces of the children light up when they each found out there were going home with gifts -- and their own bicycle.
