33rd Annual International Space Development Conference Lands In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Buzz Aldrin and Elon Musk are two of the many movers and shakers who will be at the 33rd Annual International Space Development Conference.

The theme of the event, which starts Wednesday at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel near LAX, is "A Space Renaissance."

Conference Director Aggie Kobrin said whether someone is a space geek or just venturing into the topic, they'll find something of interest.

"Everything you could ever want to know, and it's all in one place, it's just a lot of fun. It's a great place to come and really experience space and what it's all about and what's happening," she said.

Kobrin said six astronauts, along with movie producers, will attend the conference.
