3-Vehicle Crash On 405 Freeway Ties Up Traffic For Miles

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com)  —  A three-vehicle crash in Van Nuys on Friday evening tied up traffic on the 405 freeway for miles.

Authorities said "at least" four people were injured.

The extent of their injuries was not clear.

Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky2, said the accident occurred on the southbound lane of the 405 between Sherman Way and Roscoe Boulevard.

The freeway was closed while crews cleared the road and tended to some of the injured, Mundel reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
